Creating the next generation of active environmental citizens and leaders
A free project based learning program.
The Program

For over a decade, the Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning (FILL) has been able to offer the Student Eco Citizenship Program to all 5th-8th classrooms in several states at no cost.
Thousands of students have participated and engaged in studies and projects that develop new learning and understanding in the STEM areas. .
This program empowers students to engage with environmental topics, encourages them to become the next generation of active environmental citizens; and fosters a brighter, more sustainable future.
Students will follow four lessons to create, and implement a project that is a solution to an environmental issue. The lessons follow these steps:
Lesson 1: Research and solutions
Lesson 2: Action plan
Lesson 3: Act and evaluate
Lesson 4: Share, submit, and celebrate!
